My jokester...

I was getting ready to take the kids to the dollar movies and I told Makayla to go get some clothes so I can get her dressed. A few minutes later she walks in the room and said "Mom I already got dressed!" And this is how she looked..............

She found some of Clayton's basketball shorts and put them on...she is such a crack up!

Makayla decided Santa is Nice!!

Makayla and I went to the mall to finish up some Christmas shopping and I was shocked when she said she wanted to go see Santa. A few weeks back, we saw Santa at the kids school and she wanted nothing to do with him. I think I have Dora to thank for her new bravery. She loves the Dora Christmas movie were they teach Swiper to stop swiping so he can be on Santa's "nice" list and I think she has decided that Santa is not so scary.

I have to say this is the best Santa I have EVER met, he was so sweet. He sat there with Makayla for quite awhile telling jokes, playing the Hi Five game, and making her giggle. The best part was when he asked Makayla if she knew why we celebrated Christmas, he told her it was to celebrate the birth of Christ, and he told her to never forget that! This Santa deserves a raise! Nowa days it's hard to find people that put Christ into Christmas, I love you Santa! Thank you for taking the time to sit and talk to my Makayla.

Callie's Class Christmas Party

Callie's favorite part of school are the cool parties they have. For their Christmas party they ate pizza and decorated gingerbread houses. ( I should say graham cracker houses) So fun!!

Look how pretty she is.

Callie is lucky and has her cousin Dylan in her class!

FaMiLy FUN NiGhT!!

We look forward to taking the kids to see the temple lights every year. It's a tradition to stop at QT on the way and get a hot chocolate... a tradition the kids won't let us forget about. It's also a tradition to see who can make the funniest face on the drive over there. I love everything about the temple lights. Even the big crowds don't seem so bad, and complete strangers also seem to be much more friendly on the temple grounds.

**All the Christmas lights were making my camera go crazy and I couldn't figure out what setting to put it on, so I gave up. So here are a lot of pictures of really goofy people.
This is the best goofy face Clayton can do, he's no fun.

Makayla fell in the wet grass before getting into the car and I didn't have any energy to go find a new pair of pants...that explains the dirty knee in the picture. LOL!!

I think Callie wins!!

I am so lucky....

I am one lucky mom!! I get to spend my days with this girl.....

I love this picture of Makayla, it shows her exact personality. (she is such a goof) She is a kid that finds joy in simple things. She keeps me laughing!

I'm afraid she is going to be the class clown.

School Thanksgiving Feast

Thanksgiving time is always fun at school! The Kindergarten classes have a HUGE feast every year.

Look how cute McKenzie is in her Indian costume!

Cody turned 7!

I'm way late posting this, but better late than never. Cody turned 7 on November 18th!! Cody is such a joy to have in our family. He is a boy of few words, but with a smile like his he doesn't need to say much. (his sisters are always talking and poor boy can't get a word in) All Cody wanted for his birthday was for his cousins and his two favorite neighbor boys to come play. We did our traditional morning party as a family before school and then that night we did a Peter Piper party with the cousins! Cody was in heaven. We love you Cody and all the good choices your making in your life. Keep it up!

I am one lucky girl!

Can I just say, "I love this man!!" He is one amazing, patient, and very hard working person. I don't think I give him enough credit. He puts up with a lot...with all my grouchiness, and me being so tired all the time. (all my running is catching up with me) He is my biggest fan and I really appreciate him. Lately I have wondered if I can really run a 1/2 marathon and have thought about quitting, and he is there to keep me motivated and tells me I can do it!! He dropped me off on Lindsey/Ray to run home (8 miles) and he called to check to see if I was ok, I told him, "only have a few more miles" and he said, "that's great, but are you doing ok?" I love that he cares.

I love you babe!! I am one lucky girl to be able to call you my husband!! Thanks for all you do for our family.

**Bonus** He makes REALLY cute kids too! And I love that he wants another one, but all I can say is, "keep dreaming!"

Halloween 2009...only a LITTLE late!

We always have a great Halloween!! We live on the BEST street and have the BEST neighbors. For the last few years we have blocked off the street and had a street party! It's always so much fun and we always have such yummy food!! I love that every house on the street has an average of 4 kids and they are ALL around the same ages...SO fun!!

Some of the kids from our street (missing 8..they were still getting ready)

Callie the Witch. Wow, what an experience doing her make up...she didn't want to look scary or ugly. We had to wash it off at least 3 time, finally dad did it.

(I stole this picture from my SIL on facebook. Can't figure out why they turned out so small.)
