It finally comes out!

After much anticipation, Cody's tooth finally came out!! I was taking a nap and Cody came in and his tooth was barely hanging, so we tied floss around it and I ranked really hard, and it came flying out!! Here comes the Tooth Fairy -- he's so excited!!

Look at those pearly whites!

Makayla had her first dentist appointment today, she was not to thrilled about strangers messing with her mouth. She did really good for a first timer!! Her favorite part were the prizes.

McKenzie on the other hand, has the whole system figured out! She knows if you sit still long enough to let them do their job, you get really cool prizes, and she even got a free T-shirt, now that is a cool dentist office!!

UnDEr CoNStrUcTiON ~ ENTER AT OWN RISK!!

Mom got the keys to her new house and literally the same day the construction began. Clayton went up to the wall (the wall that was going to be removed) and punched a hole into it, the kids watched in shock. Cody said "Grandma is going to be mad." After they realized it was okay they all joined in to help!!

Construction should take a couple of months and she will be officially a really close neighbor! (close enough to be in our ward!) The best part is the house she found has a pool!! The kids have already taken advantage of that!!

My baby really is a baby!

Makayla has been asking for a pacifier for a few days now and I have no idea where that came from. She has not had a paci for a least a year or longer. I kept telling her, "no, your not a baby." I guess she didn't like my answer and found one herself.

She found a plastic pacifier that goes to one of her dolls. She walked around the house with it in her mouth most of the day, when Clayton noticed he took it and threw it in the trash. (He is not into big kids having bottles and pacifiers.) She is too funny!

Just come out already!!

Cody is so excited to lose his first tooth! His tooth has been wiggly for about a month now, and it is killing him that it won't come out. He lets Clayton try pulling it with pliers, floss, and just about anything else you can think of. He wants the Tooth Fairy to come so bad, but his tooth is just too stubborn.

Close-up of the stubborn tooth!

Cody pulling with all his might!

Go away, don't come back another day!

We have been finding scorpions like crazy lately. We find at least 1-2 a day, the most recent on my bed sheets, and in the kids bathroom while they were in there brushing their teeth. Tonight we checked each kids room and beds before putting them to bed, and within only minutes of being finished, there was a knock at the door. Three neighbor girls wanted to know if I wanted to go scorpion hunting with them. (with black light, jar, and really long tongs) I thought it was too funny they came right when Clayton and I finished searching the house. Well, anyways we won!! We didn't find any in our yard, we found 7 total in 3 other yards. We are going to keep them in the jar and just add to them every time we go hunting!! You should of seen us, we would see one and start yelling and one girl had a broom and would just start beating the heck out of it, I was in charge of holding the jar, I would open the jar set it down and run like heck. Those stupid things give me the creeps.

Random Post

Seems like the days lately have just been the same thing day after day, nothing fun to post about, so this is the best I can do for now!!

Callie at Doctor's office (Strep Throat) gotta love school germs!!

I took McKenzie and Makayla to Peter Piper to celebrate not crying at the gym!! I was getting paged everyday cause the girls didn't like the childcare area, but they finally will stay without crying!! Now, that is something to celebrate, don't you think?

I love the time I am getting to spend with these two girls by themselves. When the older kids were home during summer break, I felt like there just wasn't enough of me to go around. We are having a great time, just the three of us!!

Should I be happy or Sad?

This weekend we did something that hasn't been done for 71/2 years. We took the crib down!! We put Makayla in a big girl bed!! We have always left the kids in the crib until the next child has needed it. Well, if we were to keep with our track record I would have a 3 month old right now, but we are at the point of our lives that we just aren't sure if we are done or not. How do you ever know if your done? People have always told me you will just have this overwhelming feeling that your family is complete, and I just haven't had that feeling yet, and it scares because there is no way that I could control another one. Anyways, I have mixed emotions right now, I feel at peace with where we are at right now in our lives, but yet so confused cause we want another boy. I don't want to wait much longer and have the feel of starting completely over.

Sorry for thinking out loud!

Leave a Memory.

Lets try this again, and this time Becky is not allowed to play! :) (Unless you can be good!)

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you are playing and I'll come to your blog and leave a memory about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave a memory about you in my comments.

Don't be a chicken play along, and leave me a comment!! :)
